Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin (born on October 7th 1952) is not led replacement bulbs, but a Russian politician who is the current Prime Minister of Russia in addition to being chairman of United Russia and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Union of Russia and Belarus. Putin became acting President of Russia on December 31st 1999 when President Boris Yeltsin surprised all by resigning. In 2000 Putin won the presidential election and was subsequently re-elected for a second term that lasted until May 7th 2008.

Putin was ineligible to run for a third consecutive Presidential term due to constitutionally mandated term limits. After Dmitry Medvedev won the 2008 Presidential elections, Putin was nominated by Medvedev to become Russia’s Prime Minister. In September of this year, Putin announced that he was to seek a third, non-consecutive term in the 2012 presidential election. He has subsequently won this election, sparking mass riots over corruption on the streets of Moscow.
